i put in the new card VisionTek radeon HD 3650 4 pin connecter into my dell diminsion 4600 and it wont turn on all it does is blink a orange light , i also tryed the video card in another computer and it would not turn on also|||Either you are missing some special connector to the Mother board.
Or your PSU (Power Supply Unit) doesn't have the juice to do it.
Check the Requirements for the card. Then check to see if your PSU matches the requirements.
Those HD cards really suck up a lot of power.|||take it out, download drivers for it, and also maybe try running it with ur old video card in aswell.|||If thats the case, then its probably faulty, but make sure you firmly puch the card right in the slot, because if its not quite in, the computer wont start.|||You don't have a powerfull enough powersupply most likely, but the card could be bad as well.
You can diagnose a dell quite easily by looking at the row of 4 lights on the back.
