Hi, my names mike. Im thinking of buying a GeForce 8600 video card, which is an upgrade from my current Geforce 6200 with turbocache. Im going to buy in from newegg.com with a check. I found a good deal on the card for $80, plus i get a 40$ mail in rebate.
The thing is, i have to purchase the thing before October 31st. The check must be recieved by newegg within 7 days of placing an order, so will the thing be considered purchased on the date that i ordered online, or the day that my check is recived?
ALso, It says on the rebate paper, "this request must be postmarked by 11/30/2008" what does that mean?
p.s. i game a lot interested in warhammer|||I think you should just make an account online and use your credit card. It's very wise to trust sites such as Newegg as long as your protection is adequate (firewall, AV). Use your parents if you are underage.
You should call their toll number and get the best answer. Calling them will take no more than 3 minutes.
