My monitor became blurry after installing a new video card, how do I fix it?

I bought a new BFG Tech 9800 GT on sale today because BFG is closing down, and I replaced my old ATI 4670 HD with it.

What I did was I inserted it into my motherboard and powered up my windows vista computer, then installed the drivers that came on the CD. After installation, I restarted my computer and I deleted all of the previous ATI drivers, including Catalyst Control Center. Then I rebooted it again... After I turned it on, I realized that it was still a bit blurry (even though it was worse before I installed the drivers, which is typical). I then re-installed the monitor drivers, installed the latest nvidia drivers from Nvidia website, re-installed the monitor drivers again, and none of these worked (I restarted my computer after each installation). I also messed around with all the video settings in vista, and the Nvidia control panel, but they didn't solve my problem.

I don't think it's a monitor issue because my monitor was perfectly clear before I replaced my video card, but I also don't think it's a video card issue because the card itself performed very well when I tested it in games for Frames per second and other aspects. It's also recognized by my OS and all of my other programs (like CCleaner and MSI afterburner).

I think it's a software issue because blurriness is common when the wrong drivers are installed. It could be that I didn't follow the right steps in changing from an ATI card to an NVidia, and maybe some of the possible left over software is conflicting. Anyways, if anyone knows a solution or has ever been in my situation, please tell me how I fix this problem. Thanks|||You should have uninstalled the ATI drivers before installing the new card. I dont know if that would really make all that big of a difference but it is a possibility that some bits of the old drivers are still around and interfering with the nvidia drivers. Sorry it isnt much of an answer but i would recomend uninstalling the nvidia drivers, rebooting and checking around to see if there are any parts of the old drivers still installed.|||try installing the latest drivers from nvidia's website. also make sure your refresh rate for the monitor is correct. same for the resolution.
