How much do video cards cost?

Ok so I need a new video card but I don't know how much they cost. Also can I install them my self and how will I know what type is the right one for my computer?

(I live in Canada, Ontario)|||ATi 4670 for $45. Best one in budget range. Maxxed gaming.,

Akash!|||The cost depends on how good the card is and what slot it uses. Ex: PCI, AGP, PCI Express

You can install it your self, its as simple as sliding it in the slot, to find out what ones are right for your computer, you need to know how good your power supply is and what slots you have on your motherboard, you can tell the slots by looking at your motherboard or checking the manufacturers site of your computer. www.newegg.com is a good website to get cheap video cards.

Heres a video on how to install a video card http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ILrq7lMe…|||Decent cards start around $50 and most gamers look around the $75-$150 range, but cards can go much higher. If you're not playing games much then even a $40 card is perfectly fine.

Here's a list of best buys in every price range:|||They may cost anything between like $20 and $600. Which one you need depends on what you do with your computer. The ones that are good for pretty much anybody are around $150.
