The CD with the drivers, rather.
It wasn't too clear in directions -.-|||Here's a few easy steps:
1. Power down your system, pop in the new video card and power back up.
2. Uninstall the drivers for your current video card/onboard graphics. You can do this from add/remove programs. Or from Control panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager.
3. Put in the CD and install the drivers for your new graphics card.
4. Reboot your system. If you were using onboard graphics, make sure you're plugging in your monitor to the inputs from the slot belonging to the new video card.
Good luck!|||Best to put drivers in first.|||Install the drivers last.
When installing a new video card, Be sure to power down the computer completely then disconnect the power cord. Place the video card in and make sure it is connected properly. Put the case back together and reapply the power. Once it is booted up into windows, The plug and play will automatically detect and install it. Now you are usually normal default drivers. Now is the time to install the proper drivers. I would suggest that you goto the manufactures of the video cards website to download newer up to date drivers. That will let it run better and more bug free. I hope this helped.|||yeah you have too. not if u have vista ultimate|||Winblow's has the tendency to install it's own drivers, if THE drivers for the vid card, are not already installed. This get's you generic drivers, from the multitude of drivers it has,(Winblows), installed. It's better to have the drivers made for the specific vid card you have, installed first.|||Usually that is wise to do.|||Yes, if you has had a new video card you should install it's driver and then restart your PC|||Always install drivers before you add any hardware unless the destructions tell you otherwise. Rule of thumb though is drivers first. if you don't put the drivers in and you start your pc with a new video or graphics card, if windows doesn't see it because it hasn't got the drivers you'll have no picture and have to take it out again.|||install video card restart pc, plug&play will detect it, then u install the drivers|||Yeah.
