I have a

Windows vista home premium

intel [R] pentium [R] DCPU 2.80Ghz

1.00 gb ram

intel [R] 82945G express chipset family

So i put it in my computer put moniter screen cord into graphic card turned on computer it turns on but screen is black.... Help! plz...|||You need to boot into BIOS and disable your 945G's onboard graphics there.

If your onboard graphics is still active, your computer cannot recognize the new graphics card.

And merely deleting your onboard graphics' drivers in Device Manager will NOT disable it. It merely deletes the driver and forces Windows to ask you to reinstall it.|||1st - Turn off your computer and take out the plug.

2nd -Take out the video card.

3rd - Boot your computer and the VGA standard will take over. Big Screen

4th - Load the video card drivers into your machine.

5th - Shut down and turn off your computer and unplug the cord.

6th - Put in the new video card

7th - Plug in your machine and then turn it on.

8th - Your new video card should be recognized, the drivers loaded and your screen returned.
