New video card casues problem for battlefield 2, what can i do?

I updraged my video card from a radeon 256, to a nvidia 512. I loaded latest driver but the maps are all messed up. Vertical/horizontal lines, caved in buildings, phantom walls, scopes are usually covered in black or lines. just a mess, not sure what to do. Thought is might be the card had it replaced. Could it still be the card? not sure what to do. please help.|||Put old card back in. If things go back to normal then you have compatibility problems on computer. Also if you have upgraded from say XP to Vista this may be the problem. Bear in mind that putting in a bigger mb card does not say that your display will be better.
