What type of video card do I need?

I have an intel i3 core proccessor running at 2.93 Ghz, Gateway model Dx4831 and about 6 gb ram. Can't seem to figure out what type of MB I have, but I'm looking to get a new video card to help with graphics and stop lag from hitting too hard|||Provided this is a desktop we're talking about here and your power supply can handle it, any PCI-Express video card should work. Modern boards have PCIe which is what the vast majority of modern video cards are. Like I said, just make sure your power supply can pump out enough power (W) in order to run the card.|||what ever you want
