What new video card should I buy?

I have a Sony Vaio FZ series laptop. 2.0 GHz Intel Centrino Duo processor, Windows Vista Home Premium, 2 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT video card.

Even though I mainly use this computer for school work, I like to play games on it as well and this video card just isn't cutting it. I was thinking about buy a GeForce 8800GT, but I don't know enough about video cards to know if this one will be what I'm looking for, or even work with my laptop.

Any suggestions for new video cards? Price, noise, and heat are all fairly important factors as well.|||The graphics card in your laptop is not upgradeable. The only upgradeable graphics cards in laptop I know of are for the Dell Inspiron XPS series, and Alienware.|||You cannot upgrade the graphics card in a laptop. They are usually soldered onto the motherboard.
